Ken McMahon, PT, DPT, CMTPT
Ken has lived most of his life in and around the Memphis area. He went to Christian Brother High School and went on to finish his BS in Biology at the University of Memphis and then attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN where he graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy in 2000. He has extensive training in out patient orthopedic treatment and is also certified in dry needling through the Myopain Seminar Series out of Bethesda Maryland. Ken was a clinic director for STAR Physical Therapy in the Nashville Area, six months after graduation. He then moved back to Memphis in the early 2000’s and worked for Rehab etc Physical Therapy for 22 years. While there he worked to help grow the company’s footprint by opening different clinics in Bartlett, Oakland and Nashville. In 2023 he became a regional director for Results Physiotherapy where he helped manage eight clinics throughout the Mid-South. It was at this point that Ken decided to fulfill his lifelong dream to open his own clinic. In May of 2024 he opened his first clinic in Atoka, TN.
Ken specializes in the treatment of outpatient orthopedics including pathologies of the spine and general orthopedic and sports injuries. Areas of interest include treating people who suffer from headaches, TMJ, myofascial pain, vertigo, gait and balance issues and sciatica.
Ken has been married to his wife Megan, for 30 years and they have two daughters. Their oldest daughter Madison, graduated from the University of Memphis in 2023 and then married Joel in May of 2023. They currently live in the Memphis area and Madison plans on attending physical therapy school next year. Their youngest daughter, Maci, attends the University of Memphis and she is finishing her degree in special education with an emphasis in children who have hearing impairments. Ken enjoys hiking, power-lifting/strong man training, disc-golf and in general spending time with his family. Ken and Megan are active members of Saint Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett, TN.
