If inflammation, chronic pain, or injury is slowing you down, laser therapy at McMahon Physical Therapy in Atoka provides a non-invasive, drug-free solution to reduce pain, speed up healing, and restore mobility. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing arthritis, or struggling with nerve pain, our cutting-edge laser treatments help where other therapies have stalled.

How Laser Therapy Restores Your Body

Unlike medications that only mask symptoms, laser therapy works at the cellular level to stimulate healing and long-term recovery. The therapeutic laser penetrates deep into tissues, triggering a series of natural biological responses that:

  • Boost Cellular Repair – Increases ATP production, fueling tissue regeneration.
  • Improve Blood Flow – Enhances circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients for faster healing.
  • Reduce Inflammation – Lowers inflammatory markers, relieving pain and stiffness.
  • Strengthen Tissue Integrity – Promotes collagen realignment, improving flexibility and function.
  • Suppress Pain Signals – Releases endorphins and calms nerve sensitivity for long-lasting pain relief.

By targeting the root cause of pain and dysfunction, laser therapy helps patients regain mobility, flexibility, and comfort in daily life.

McMahon physical therapy provides patient centered care. The patient is the focus during each session. The therapists at McMahon’s physical therapy work one on one with each patient ensuring that exercises are being done correctly. It is impossible for this to be done when the therapist is standing at a computer and charting, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, or eating their snacks and meals. Each patients plan of care is personalized based on the patient’s individual progress and not a “standard” plan of care. The staff at McMahon physical therapy form bonds with their patients and each patient is treated like family. After receiving PT at a different local facility for 7 months following back surgery, I’m very thankful for Ken and his entire staff for the exceptional patient centered care they have provided and continue to provide me. I will exceed my goals with the support and encouragement of McMahon physical therapy .

Okay, buckle up! I have a lot to say. I’m a tradesman. If you’re like me, this next bit will resonate with you. My career and the wear & tear that comes with it had blessed me with chronic back pain before I was in my 30’s. Existence is pain… Dr. Ken helped me with that chronic back pain and I haven’t had any issues in over 5 years. He was incredibly attentive, perceptive, understanding and thorough. But remember, I work a laborious job so of course I’ve managed to unlock a new pain. This time, pins and needles down my left arm, sometimes with sharp aching jolts. Time to see Ken. This time he’s got a beautiful new facility in Atoka and a quality crew to go with it. Katie is the Practice Manager/Bouncer. She seems to have unlimited patience and wit, though I was careful not to cross her. Morgan is there, too, I’m not sure what she does. Just kidding, she’ll help you through your stretches/exercises and if you’re lucky she’ll (accidentally) toss a yoga ball at you. Of course Dr. Ken is just as attentive, perceptive, understanding and thorough as he’s always been. But you know what? My arm is MUCH better now. Did you see that coming? Ken not only worked with me to diagnose the issue but he also educated me on how to properly manage my body and how best to avoid this happening again. Now I just need to stick to it. I know how easy it is to get in the routine of long hours, job after job, side work after your day-job, but you’ve got to take care of your body at some point. So, when? After all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, right? Thank you so much, Ken & Crew, I can’t wait for my next injury so I can come visit! J.
